Wolfie has called a ride for Sat am, a short get-it-out-of-your-system run on old school CQ turf, 5 players turn up, Wolfie,Bigsy,Gareth,Nath & Brad.
Ride under way and it's off to the Alkimos, Bigsy gets a bit untidy in the soft sand and strains an old wrist injury, he decides to call it a day, bad luck for Bigsy as the tracks firm up once we head inland. Some guys will do anything for SOTD!!The remaining 4 head for the Alkimos, but not before Gareth, now riding a XR600 has a few sand naps getting used to the new ride, "the front ends a lot heavier than my old WR450" he chants, of course those old Hondas can be cranky to start after a fall, so much so that the lads reckon that Gareth may well develop the oversized right thigh that JAW was famous for in his CQ days. His galant effort earns him ROTD!!


Gareth did a lot of this today!!!!

The Lads did persevere and we made it to the famous Yanchep tanks, lollies were exchanged, (*rumour has it that Wolfie had a Mars bar to himself though?!?!*)the B.S. flowed and a few piccys done.





A great pace back, headed by Nath saw us heading home for a cold beer, all done by around 11.30am. Great way to spend a Saturday morning, don't you think!!!!!!!!
