Andreas pizza party.
Pizza party at Andreas
Eat report by Col. As Andreas is having a short break from riding for a couple of months he decided to have a pizza party at his lovely home in the hills to catch up with the CQer's for a drink, meal and a laugh. We arrived at base camp about 1.00pm in the Magna and quickly realised we should have come in the Suzuki if we were to reach the top of the drive way before the first pizza was ready to throw down. I advise the passengers in my car to cross check cabin doors, put up their tray table, remain in their seats and firmly fasten their lap sashes. I locked the old girl in first and firmly pressed on the accelerator. We slowly ascended the summit and found parking at around 300 feet before realising we might just have to reverse all the way back down!!!!!! We should have made Choko try it on the DRZ just for a laugh. Andreas put Domino's to shame today. I have never seen so many pizzas come out of one oven at such a rate. There were pizzas of all types including cheeseless ones for Col Mac. He worked like a trojon making us pizzas until we were ready to burst. A huge thanks to Andreas and his wife for their hospitality, hard work and of course the pizzas. That's an extra point and a ROTD award buddy. The normal type of ribbing went on today. Col Mac, Pounce, Brett and Roley got their fair share but of course now we have Choko to pick on the pressure is off the other easy targets. Choko has only been a CQ for a couple of months and only just picked up his Legend status but has managed to do just about everything that a dirt biker doesn't want to do. This has proven to be just the right amo to allow a bunch of has been bikers like us to use on the poor young fellow. He as feelings you know!!!! After 5 hours of eating, a little bit of light drizzle pushed us under cover on the front balcony where a few more beers were had and some great coffees out of a "real" Ding coffee machine. We finally left not long before dark. I wasn't game to try the descent in the dark without a control tower. Thanks again for a fantastic afternoon Andreas and family. Have a great break and be safe.
