Report

a mixed group of boys girls and jrs started from a new point heading towards nth bannister
for the first loop with previous weeks rain keeping dust to a minimum. With Chantal being
newish to riding and ben on a new bike the cornerman was tried but found to be un-needed
with both being able to keep up a good pace with the small group. The only thing on the
first loop was a fouled plug on the little smoker (more revs ben)

A barbie lunch between loops saw ben taking rods 250f for a blast around the area which had
orry worrying about his bank balance (you bend you mend ben).

Light cloud kept it coolish as we headed off towards pikes with a little bit of dust
starting to rear its ugly head. Nice flowing tracks saw us nearly at pikes in no time when
ben thought he had done another plug. orry and rod couldnt get it to run right so orry made
the call to backtrack knowing the trails ahead would cause difficulty. On the way back orry
had a chance to look a bens bike again after a nice get off and solved the poor running by
turning off the choke. After some teasing about ben washing all the bikes (to young to buy a
carton) we had a play on the special test for a while before packing up after the best part
of the day out.

No rotd as to close to call between Chantal picking up some good technic as the day went on
and ben showing some fairly good pace as he got familular with the new bike.
Also no sotd as both rod and ben gave it a good effort with rod popping out his knee
rockhopping and ben not squaring a log at speed.
