The Magical Mick-stery Tour
Report by: Mick450
Excellent day for a ride the sun was shinning and plenty of water. 3 Crustys turned up for a ride in a new area. We met at Muchea then took a 15 minute drive to Julimar. Mick450 & CRFMIchael took turns in leading and showing DavidM the highlights of Julimar as we have been there many times before. First loop of about 70 kms took us about 3 hours started of on a fire break then into some goat trails & hill climbs, up a creek and a few creek crossings and more goat trails. It was slippery we all got sideways in puddles. There were a few offs DavidM getting of in a creek we were riding up and CRFMIchael checking the bottom off a puddle. We rode more goat trails back to the cars and after lunch decided to do a second loop. The second loop was about 50 kms started off down a gravel track and we came across a new goat trail we hadn't been along before. This trail had a few gully's CRFMIchael had a off going up one and couldn't get his bike started his GPS was holding his kill switch in. DavidM also had a few dramas getting up the gully but once he was at the top he went and did it two more times without a drama. We got back onto some of the trails we rode on in the first loop but in reverse played around a lake for a while then back to the cars to pack up and head home. |
