All met at the usual spot laughing at the Ford Falcon buried to the sills near the top of the large sand dunes at the carpark. Must have been a company car i rekon.

I tried a small rain dance looking at the clouds but Allan thought I was having a Seizure so put me in the recovery/coma position.

H said follow me I have a roo whistle I AM SAFE, Adrain said I'll sweep so we were off.

I think we headed inland straight away but I couldn't see anything due to the dust. After spreading out and settling into a routine we were setting a cracking pace. Slightly further inland than I had ever ridden before the trails were wide and flowing. Did I mention dust.

30 roos, a rabbit, an emu, 2 birds 1 dead 1 still flying were the order of the morning till pulling onto the beach at wedge for a breather, drink and talk some crap.

Back to the inland trails cut through the roadworks which are cutting the area in half(Lano-Cervantes road) came up over a hill and utopia no dust rain had been earlier. Did I mention it was dusty earlier on? Any way damp ground and what? some traction, AWESOME lasted about 5min then back into the dust, boy it was dusty even the start was dusty did I mention that allready?)

We all headed for the big hill at the end of the trails when we hear Haydn at the bottom with a flat rear. Do we change it or ride it back to Lano? We changed it. During the formula 1 like transitional tyre change the ticks attacked. The boys who were there last week started laughing reminising about Col's love affair with them. Honest Col it wasn't me! I wasn't laughing.

Then it started the heavens opened up and it pissed down. My rain dance sort of worked but I missed out the daylight savings part of the dance so it was late. This bought a perplexing question to me, Why is it the guys with the funny arctic/European accents, the ones complaining about the rain.

A quick fix and Haydn was off. It was a slowish ride back to Lano with several 4wd's on the track. All made it home safe and sound.

H came to the conclusion that roo whistles do work on roos but attract birds.
I came to the conclusion that there was a bit of dust around today.
Adrian would have come to the conclusion that he breathed most of that dust in.

Thanks to H and Adrian who put up there hands to lead and sweep an awesome ride.

OH ye and i forgot to add ---

How did that get left out of the report?

Yeah about 10m behind Allan doing about 110kph in 2nd gear front wheel in the air going around the corner when WHAM, I woke up.:-)

Nah I was about 10m behind Allan when I saw a roo which I thought was heading for Allan which was bounding at full pace across the track, it went behind him that's when i had an oh shite moment hit the rear brake and lost the rear was only going about 30kph so no drama's not like that other drama queen, What was his name?

Funny thing is Allan didn't even see it.
