Midwest Baboon ride.

We left Gero at 8.30am for a lazy hours drive east to beautiful Mullewa, LOL. Tony led us off thru the old MX Track in and out of the river, down fence lines, criss-crossing the main road and just picking our way through the scrub for about 30 kms. I didnt know where we were but good ol Tony led us right back to where we started. After topping up the tanks we headed off in another direction down an old railway line access road. Every time Tony thought it was getting boring, which was a fair bit, we would just turn left or right and ride into the bush. We ended up at the Pindar Coat of Arms. Wombat led us back to Mullewa. A bit dusty, rocky, boggy, twisty and turny, fast and slow but thats what makes great rides. If I had my way Tony would get both ROTD and SOTD for showing us where to ride and how to fall down. But that,s not to say Browny didnt deserve ROTD either. Thanks to Peter for being the Broom Boy. He must have good eyes because he even found someones wallet out on the trail.
