Just a small turn out as the usual suspects were all down at the WCS trail ride for 2011. Eddie Acid Gloves had offered to come and make the ride but got held up putting out a fire at an orphanage with roost dirt, what a top bloke next time Eddie.

Four to start with my son Mitch giving it a go to keep up on my DRZ while I took the YZ125 for a wrap, all good as we were in the Pinjar off road area. Lost him a couple of times and meet back at the cars. Hed stacked due to a large dead eagle on the track that broke his concentration, lucky that was all. Swapped bikes back and the three of us headed out north.

Not much to mention but a good ride of sand and limestone tracks just was heading out with no particular plan in mind. Found some new tracks and rode some of the usuals, climbed one of the four hills and generally enjoyed a cool dry fine morning in the forest No Dust.

Found a nice track thanks to Phils lead and GPS and blasted along through a partly over grown 4x4 track for a good 4-5 ks. Breather at the end and headed back down it with Phil taking a turn at the back, Steve in the middle and me (Andy) up front. Midway and a quick check, with the guys behind me we blast off again. Made to the track start and pulled up as I had no idea which way to go. No Steve, no Phil, No sound. Good a photo opportunity and I got positioned for some action shots. Still no sounds Shit - got to go back, not fun with blind corners.

SOTD DRZ Steve. Found the guys in good health about 1/2k back. Phil had a birds eye view of one of the best cartwheels he thinks hes seen. An offending fallen branch started the launch process with the final resting place 10 15 mtrs further on at least. Bent bar was all the damage thankfully.

ROTD WR Phil. Again Phils extensive knowledge of the area and his ability to get around it fast while always keeping it upright and only 60 hours on a trail bike, well done.

Some more single trail and with fuel becoming an issue we headed back to the park spot.

101 ks travelled, no broken people, no broken bikes and dodged the rain. Fun Fun Fun.
