HusqMike called a ride as he need to clean some cobwebs out.
Players were HusqMIke, Andy400, Ash and Clean man.

Nice easier start to the day, Ash worked out he left his oil burner oil home and Mike forgot his cloves. Lucky we had extra of both problems solved away we head.
5 min down the road we regroup. Is this the right turn off? I check me GPS which is saying to turn the opposite way. Andy pipes up, yep follow me, ten to fifteen minutes down the road we park and kit up.
No lead or sweep nominated we will play it by ear with no pre determined route. Off we set great single and two tracks, with the weather and ground conditions prefect (hardly any dust just right). A reasonable pace was set with two oil burners and two thumpers.
First half of the ride uneventful until Andy takes the lead to find some water.
We end up at the spot Pounce got stuck on previous a ride. We stop and discuss, Andy sets off half way across he gets bogged and his boots are now full of water. To his credit he got to the other side. Well done Andy.
The remaining three of us discuss the option. I decide to give it a go against me better judgement, tried to pick a better line, but failed, front went straight down. We pull my bike out and the a vote is taken. Andy needs to come back thru again. He did it in stile hit the fish pond with a bit of pace and the front wheel is in the air, well it was for the first couple of meters then it came to very sudden stop. The three of us othe other side couldn't stop laughing, it was the funniest thing I've seen for a while. Then the DRZ has had enough and decided to have lie down to Cool off a bit.
Yep it had drink at the same time. We dragged it out, Andy pulls off the air cleaner cover and I reckon 5 ltrs of water poured out of onto the ground. DRZ is up ended, Andy reckons the front wheel has never been that high before. We say open the throttle, another litre pours out. It won't start so a tow is in order. The Husqi does the business and within a hundred or so metres the mighty DRZ coughs into life.
Away we go to find some more great tracks, some new ones found. We decide to call it a day make our way back to the cars, one last excellent track, everyone is in full swing. Ash over cooks a corner, but lives to tell the tail.
For a ride we all thought would be average, it turned out to be an excellent day with about 80 odd km covered with no bikes damaged (1 a bit drowned) and no injuries.
Thanks for great ride today Mike, Andy and Ash.
Just need to sort out this GPS thingy!!
