The Hamstring Stretch
Date 29/Mar/14
2 Riders Clean man, WRLindsay
Rider of the day Not awarded
Stack of the day WRLindsay
Clean Man called an easy Saturday ride to run in his bike, but something esle decided to break/stretch!
Three players rocked up WRLindsay, new player Jamie350, plus CM.
Arrived at the Lakes, kitted up and on the bikes by around 7:30am. Weather looked like it was threatening to rain, everyone had hopes it would to settle the dust.
A quick chat to work out who is doing what. The chat includes a discussion on how CLean Man did his hamstring on a hill a couple of kms away last May when his throttle stuck wide open going up a snotty little hill.

WRLindsay put up his hand to sit at the back as it was his first ride for the year. Off we went, Clean Man in the lead, a nice easy pace as is was dusty, plus the dry conditions made the track a little lose.
We approach the hill that CM did his Hamstring on, CM and Jamie350 went up and stopped at the top. No sign of WRLindsay. A quick look down the hill we could see WRLIndsay. We head back down, there we find the WR having a bit of lie down and WRLIndsay standing off to one side. We ask how he is, he replies i have done me Hamstring. Gees it is 50m further up the hill from where CM did his 11 months earlier. We check WRLindsay is not completely wrecked, pick up the WR and head back to the cars to load up WRLindsay's bike. His day is done.
We suggest he seeks back into bed when he gets home, that way his misus won't even know he was gone!

CM and Jamie350 head off to get a few kms in. The rest of the ride was a good mix of two wheel tracks with the odd single track thrown in, dust wasn't to bad with two riders, but you had to watch for the odd bulldust patch which would blind you.
63kms later we are back at the cars around 10:30. It was a good short ride.

WRLindsay hope the leg is not sore and heals soon. Sorry to put the mockers on you by telling you how I did my hammy last year.
I think the hill should now be called Hamstring Hill. What do you think WRlindsay?

See you out on the track soon.

PS the pic i post is not WRLIndsay having a body function failure, but the fuel out of the WR.

Will post a couple of pics later.

CM
