Alright Col, quick ride report from yesterday. There was H, me and acid gloves Eddy. No ROTD
or SOTD awards.

"Well as Howard (now to be known as 2 pies) Hindley and i seemed the only regulars
bothered to make an effort, it was a rather different CQ ride. We got to the Lano off-road
car park at @ 8.45 to find only Acid Gloves Eddy waiting ready to go. The place was
deserted, so maybe last weekends Nazi tactics on rego's had scared a few off.

2 pies needed a run out to blow the cobwebs out before Tumblegum and i needed to see how
the road rage injuries were holding up. Eddy was just along for the ride. 2 pies says to me,
"I'll just stay back and go at your pace". We'll that lasted til about the
first corner, enough time for me to figure out i could still ride and maybe a bit of
adrenalin would dull any pain. So 2 pies comes blasting past and its game on as we charged
off towards Wedge.

It was really quiet out there and we swapped and changed positions a few times and before
we knew we there. With only the 3 (??) of us, it was probably the fastest i have ever done
that run. It was even really quiet up at Wedge itself and after a break at the Nurse hut, we
had a mosey down the beach (were it was deserted but looking great with a stiff breeze
whipping the waves). Then we cracked off back to Lano.

2 pies is at utter roo magnet and i am sure i could see them all gathered at the side
waiting for him. Before you could say "Yamahaha's are rubbish" we were back at
Lano and even then there wasn;t many folk around. There were a few teenage girls trying out
some sort of small Yamahaha and some of them have big futures in front of them (whey hey).
But teenage girls riding any bike in thongs, singlets and no helmets should be encouraged,
sorry should be discouraged (unless i am there to letch).

Anyway, we could not help ourselves but stop at the bakery and replace all the lost
calories. Clearly 2 pies had lost more than me, or his first one dropped on the floor, cause
he was straight back in for another in double quick time. But we both agreed it was mornings
like yesterday that make it all worthwhile making the move to WA. Bikes, big breasted
teenage girls and pies!
