Late Woky Run
We had 7 players for the Woky run, Rob (clean man), DazzaM, ktmShaun Tommy, Jacko, Wayno and Mick530.
The conditions we dialled up for the ride were ideal with plenty of rain in the 24 hrs prior.
It was great to see Wayno and Mick530 rock up as they know these tracks better than anyone and thus we were glad to take their lead. Top job again Wayno and with changing up the lead riders. Also the sweep duties were shared around which worked well.
Great conditions with no dust, plenty of water lying around. Had some awesome hill climbs and some good single track. Jacko ambitiously decided to take on a 300m long uphill ravine full of logs and vines at one point. We managed to talk him out of it and to take the standard track instead. A bit of energy was expired on that same hill with deep mud clay and we had to help push a few bikes through.
We also had a deep rutted downhill with heavy clay. I tried to change lines of couple of times as others did but there was no chance, the front wheel just slipped on the clay and said nope we are going this way like it or not.
We also came across of group of 30 other riders a few times.
Overall a great relaxed Woky run with a great group of blokes.

Is always a pleasure and great fun to ride with the Crusties crew. Good call Shaun calling the Woky ride with conditions being near spot on. Thanks Wayno for leading and for the other riders sharing sweep duties. One thing for sure is that Two Smokers are making a comeback with three of them out on the weekend with the Crusties, and the mob that we came across - a lot were on the two bangers. Mick 530’s 300 sounded awesome dancing off the throttle going up a hill climb in the pines. Once again great ride and hopefully we get to go again soon.

Gents,
Excellent ride yesterday. After being off the bike for few months it was great to get back into it again with a steady pace all day, great tracks, great conditions and excellent bunch of blokes.

Shaun,
Thanks for calling the ride. Everyone had a share at sweeping, which wasn't a bad job as there was no dust.

PS, Wayno, hope your thigh is okay that was a slippery down hill and you landed hard?
